FAQ
Is my purchased artwork signed by the artist?
Yes, all the screen prints are numbered and signed by the artist. Furthermore, you will also receive a certificate of authenticity with the characteristics of your numbered artwork, which is also signed.
What does it mean that the works are numbered?
This screen print is part of a limited edition series and is numbered by hand. Once the print process is finished, the moulds are destroyed and no more copies are created, thus guaranteeing the originality of each of the works in the series.
If your screen print is numbered as 25/100 it means that it is the 25th work of a total of 100 copies. In other words, only 99 other works like yours are available for sale. The artist may keep a small number of author's proofs, prior to the printing of the final works, which are not usually for sale.
Once all the copies of the edition have been sold, can more be printed?
No. Once the copies of the edition have been sold, the work is considered ‘sold out’ and under no circumstances can it be reprinted. Being a "limited edition" is precisely what gives added value to these works, and the reason why they are considered "original graphic work".
How is the artwork sent?
The screen print is sent inside a special cardboard tube, sealed with plastic covers and wrapped in a double layer of polystyrene film with plastic bubbles.
It is shipped with DHL Express Worldwide, and you are given a tracking number as soon as the artwork leaves for its destination so that you can track the package.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
The delivery time depends on the destination, it normally takes two to three days arrive to the Spanish peninsula, and three to four days to most European cities. Once the order has been sent, you will receive a tracking number from which you can check the status of the order and its delivery date.
Once I make the payment, how long does it take until my order is sent?
Your order is immediately prepared for shipment once payment has been received, and it is sent within 24 hours. If the order is received on Friday afternoon or during the weekend, it will be prepared and sent on Monday.
If my artwork arrives damaged, what should I do?
In the unlikely event that this should happen, you have 24 hours after delivery of the artwork to contact us by e-mail at help@marcostorres.com with the following information: Order number, your full details, the address where the artwork is to be collected from, and above all one or more photographs of the damage detected, either on the artwork or on the packaging.
No claims will be accepted after 24 hours. We ask you to keep all the shipment documentation, as well as the original packaging and labelling. If it is not possible to use the original packaging when it is returned, you must use a packaging format that guarantees the safety and maintenance of the piece to avoid further deterioration.
Once we receive your mail and have assessed the damage, we will send our courier to collect the artwork. Once we have received it and verified the damage, we will immediately proceed to reimburse you the full amount of the purchase and the original shipment. We will pay for the return shipping costs in this particular case.
